This Cookie Policy explains how the Ribera Marketplace website uses cookies and similar technologies, including storage inside your browser, when you visit it.

It covers this website only. How personal data is handled more broadly — what is collected, why, who receives it and what rights you have — is described in the Privacy Policy. The two documents are meant to be read together.

Ribera and Ribera Marketplace are used here as brand and product names.

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and that your browser then sends back with later requests to the same website.

This distinction matters here, because the technologies confirmed on this website so far are local storage entries rather than cookies. They are described as what they are, with no invented cookie expiry.

Preferences. This website stores your language choice (English or Spanish) and your light or dark appearance choice in your browser's local storage, so the site opens the way you left it. It also keeps what you enter in the Portfolio Simulator — the strategies you added, the allocation percentages, the capital figure and the tab you last had open — so a draft is not lost when you move between pages or come back later. These values are written only when you use those features.

Delivery and security. The website is published through a third-party website platform, and pages, images and fonts are served over that platform's infrastructure. Platforms of this kind commonly set cookies for delivery, security or their own measurement. That behaviour could not be inventoried from the website's own source, so this policy does not state that it is absent.

CONFIRM: The cookies set by the publishing platform on the live website have not been inventoried. A full inspection of the published site in a clean browser session is required, listing every cookie name, its domain, its expiry, whether it is first or third party, and its purpose.

Analytics. No analytics script, tag manager or measurement pixel is present in this website's own code or in its shared components. Whether the publishing platform measures visits at its own level is a separate question and is not yet confirmed.

Persistence: no expiry is set; the entry stays until you remove the strategies, clear the draft or clear this site's data in your browser.

Purpose: keeps the illustrative capital figure you entered in the Portfolio Simulator. When: written when you change that figure. Persistence: no expiry is set; it stays until you clear this site's data in your browser.

Key: ribera.simulatorTab.v1. Type: browser local storage (localStorage), not a cookie. Provider: Ribera Marketplace, first party. Purpose: remembers which Portfolio Simulator tab you last had open. When: written when you switch tabs. Persistence: no expiry is set; it stays until you clear this site's data in your browser.

Channels: ribera-lang and ribera-theme. Type: BroadcastChannel, a browser messaging feature. Provider: Ribera Marketplace, first party. Purpose: passes a language or appearance change to the other parts of the page immediately. Persistence: none — these channels carry a message and store nothing.

No use of sessionStorage was found in this website's own code.

Consent relationship: not established for any entry above. No consent categorisation has been agreed for this website yet, so none is stated here — see clause 05.

CONFIRM: Cookies set by the publishing platform on the live website are missing from this inventory, including any cookie used for delivery, security, session handling or platform analytics. No cookie consent or preference interface has been identified on this website. There is currently no banner or settings panel here that lets you accept, reject or later change optional cookies, and this policy will not describe one that cannot be shown to exist.

For the same reason this page does not offer a Cookie settings control. A control that reopened nothing, or that only scrolled you to this text, would tell you that you had a choice you do not have.

What you can influence today is the preference storage described in clause 04: your language, your appearance choice and your Portfolio Simulator draft. Clause 06 explains how.

CONFIRM: Whether a cookie banner or consent tool is active on the published website must be verified, together with the categories it controls, the exact button labels a visitor sees in English and Spanish, whether optional technologies are genuinely blocked before a choice is made, and whether a visitor can reopen their preferences afterwards. This clause has to be rewritten once that is known.

CONFIRM: Dismissing a banner must not be recorded or described as consent. If the live website currently behaves that way, it needs to be changed before this policy is published.

Language and appearance. Use the EN | ES switcher or the appearance control in the header at any time. Your new choice replaces the stored value immediately.

Portfolio Simulator. Removing a strategy from your draft removes it from the stored entry, and clearing the draft empties it. The draft is illustrative in any case: nothing is invested and no account is opened from it.

Clearing browser storage. Deleting this site's data in your browser removes the entries listed in clause 04. The site will then open in its default language and appearance, and your Portfolio Simulator draft will be gone.

These are four different actions, and it is worth keeping them apart. Declining optional technologies stops future optional activity. Withdrawing a consent you gave earlier stops the activity that consent covered. Clearing your browser storage removes what is held in your own browser. Requesting deletion of personal data is a separate request about data held elsewhere — see the Privacy Policy. None of the first three erases information that was already collected and stored outside your browser.

Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and other site data, usually under its privacy or site-settings section. The exact menus differ between browsers, versions and devices, so this policy does not print a path that would soon be wrong; your browser's own help pages are the reliable source.

Consequences. If you block or clear storage for this site, your language and appearance will not be remembered and a Portfolio Simulator draft will not survive between visits. You can still read the website: none of the optional technologies is a condition of access.

Browser controls do not cover every form of tracking. They act on cookies and site data in that browser, on that device. They do not reach records kept on a server, activity attributed to your network address, or techniques that do not rely on storage at all.

CONFIRM: If a consent mechanism is added, this clause must also state where a consent record is kept, how long it lasts, and how a visitor withdraws it.

Website platform and content delivery. This website is built and served on a third-party website platform, and its images are delivered from that platform's media CDN at onecdn.io. Loading a resource from another origin makes your network address and basic technical details of the request visible to that provider, and such an origin can in principle set cookies or read storage under its own address. Whether it does has not been verified.

Forms. Access-request and enquiry forms on this website are submitted through the platform's own form and CRM handling. What that submission path stores in your browser has not been established.

Links. Links to riberapartners.com and other external sites open a separate website governed by its own policies. Nothing from those sites is embedded in these pages.

No analytics, advertising, social-media, video, map or live-chat embed has been identified in this website's own code.

Where a third-party technology runs on this website, the decision to use it is ours, and so is the duty to describe it accurately here. Its presence is not treated as outside our responsibility.

Questions about who else receives personal data and where it is processed, including processing outside your own country, are addressed in the Privacy Policy.

CONFIRM: The providers behind the publishing platform, the media CDN, the font delivery, the form handling and the spam prevention must be named, and a link to each provider's own cookie or privacy policy added, once each provider and URL has been verified. No provider links are published until then.

This policy is updated when the technologies used by the website change — when an entry in clause 04 is added, removed or altered, or when a new third-party service is introduced. The inventory is meant to describe the website as it actually is, not as it was designed.
